About Diane Wolverton

Diane Wolverton is the State Director of the Wyoming Small Business Development Center, a position she has held since 1995. Prior to that she served the Wyoming SBDC as Regional Director and counselor.

Diane’s business experience includes ownership of the Bridger Valley Pioneer, a community newspaper in Lyman, Wyoming. She is the recipient of numerous writing awards including the Editorial Leadership Cup awarded by the Wyoming Press Association. She also has more than 10 years experience as an advertising copywriter and technical writer.

She was recognized by the Small Business Administration as Wyoming’s Business Advocate of the Year in 1992. Diane’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in English/Journalism from Azusa Pacific University and a Master’s Degree in Adult Education from the University of Wyoming. She is a 2001 graduate of Leadership Wyoming.

Diane has been an active member of the National Association of Small Business Development Centers. She recently completed her second term as chair of the Association Board.
